Welcome to HPIE

We work with high school teachers around Boston to provide high quality international relations lessons for students.

Tutors

We are a group of Harvard college students who create internationally focused curriculums each semester and teach them in local high school classrooms.

Students

We work with students from freshmen history to AP Government classes. Our tutors are trained to be flexible and work with teachers to create lesson plans for a range of different ages and skills levels.

HPIE Day

At the end of each semester, we invite all the students we have worked with during the semester to a day-long simulation on Harvard’s Campus. See information about past HPIE Days here.

“Every HPIE teacher has been sincere about sharing the world with high school students.”

Partner Teacher

We have been working with Boston high schools for over 30 years to bring international relations into the classroom. We focus on interactive learning and create our lesson plans with guidance from the Harvard University Derek Bok Center for Teaching & Learning .

About Us

We are the service arm of the International Relations Council, a student-run 501 c3.
